Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Cream Review

Hello Everyone-
Today I would like to tell you about a product I received free in exchange for a review.
It is
Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Cream. *Now as always the opinions expressed here are my own and always will be.*

This is what the company has to say about it:
Melatonin is the hormone that controls daily day-night cycles of sleep. Some sleep disorders, such as insomnia and Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS), are attributed to low melatonin levels. Travelers suffering from jet lag and swing shift workers may also benefit from supplemented melatonin. As we age our bodies do not make sufficient melatonin.

Using Maxasorb Melatonin as directed is a safe and will help Decrease the time needed to fall asleep; Increase sleepiness; Increase sleep duration. Infused with antioxidants and moisturizers, greaseless Maxasorb Melatonin is easily absorbed into your skin. Each 1.7 ounce bottle delivers 60 applications of lotion in protected and measured amounts. Natural ingredients assure this lotion is gentle to your skin.

EASY TO USE - Each measured dose of Maxasorb Melatonin lotion from our airless dispenser delivers 3               milligrams of melatonin with a full press of the pump.

GENTLE ON THE SKIN - Our scent-free hypoallergenic lotion is gentle on the skin,
     odorless, nonirritating

ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS - Maxasorb Melatonin lotion uses only natural, safe ingrediants

MAXIMUM ABSORPTION - This will aid in falling asleep faster, improves alertness during the day, and reduces daytime fatigue.

This is my take on the product:
This helped me get to sleep quickly for me which is about about 45 minutes to an hour.
This comes in a pump bottle and each pump of cream delivers 3 mg of Melatonin which is one dose. There are sixty doses per bottle. The cream has very little to no smell to it and has a slight sheen when rubbed in. I have extreme difficulties in sleeping throughout the entire night and this helped me to sleep about two extra hours which is a big deal for me. It did make me very drowsy before bed. When I woke up there was no residual sleepiness or grogginess. So unless you have some underlying medical condition I do believe this is a safe and natural alternative to sleeping pills. Always read the directions and warnings on the back of the label first before taking.
